The Lord's Mercy

Lamentations 3:22-23

22 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.

23 They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.

I was memorizing this verse and all of a sudden this tune started to go through my head and thus a new song was written.

There is none so faithful as our Heavenly Father.  There is none so merciful, full of grace, slow to anger, full of compassion towards us.

Thank you. Lord, for Your unending mercy!

The Lord’s Mercy

It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed.   

Because Thy compassions fail not, we are not consumed. 

For Thy mercies are new every morning,  

And because Thy compassions they fail not, 

Great is Thy faithfulness. Great is Thy faithfulness.  

For Thy mercy is great, O Lord, unto the heavens.

And Thy truth and Thy great faithfulness reaches to the clouds.

For Thy mercy is everlasting,

Upon them that fear Thy most Holy name.

Thou art most merciful. Thou art most merciful.

For Thou, O Lord, are full of grace and slow to wrath.

And plenteous in Thy mercy, O Lord most High.

For Thou has redeemed man from eternal death,

And Thou hast prepared for him a home on high.

Great is Thy mercy. Great is Thy mercy.
