Matthew
22:37
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy
God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
What
does it mean to for Jesus to be Lord of our lives? It is easy to pray a simple prayer of
salvation, but not so easy to yield our all to our Lord. Every thought, action, spoken word – all to
His glory – He is the master of all of us – not just the parts we yield to Him.
Only
those who know Jesus as Lord and Savior will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I ask that you take a few minutes to reflect
on whether or not Jesus is your Lord.
Have you given your all to Him?
Take
My Heart
Take
my heart, O Lord, I give it now to You.
Take
my life, O Lord, for it belongs to You.
Take
my heart, O Lord, and keep it ever true.
Take
my life, O Lord, help me live for You.
Not
My will but Thine be done, O God, in Me,
Was
the Savior’s cry when facing Calvary.
Not
My will but Thine did nail Him to the tree.
Where
He gave His life, covering sin’s penalty.
Take
my heart’s desire, I count it all but loss.
All
my hopes and dreams, I lay them at the Cross.
As
You did God’s work, took the place for the lost,
Bearing
all God’s wrath, and You paid the final cost.
Not
my will but Thine, shall ever be my plea.
As
You gave Your life, I lay mine down for Thee.
Give
me strength anew, to conquer sin in me.
Help
me live each day, alone, Lord, all for Thee.
